Happy Financial New Year to our UK clients!

Updated: Feb 15, 2023

People at a new year's party

Wow, where did the last year go? Congratulations on getting to the end, we know how hard you all have to work at this time of the year. To celebrate we're using this time to launch the Innovation Software DSO challenge.

We're challenging you to reduce your DSO. To take part all you need to do is tell us your DSO summary for the financial year ending 2019, and then again for the financial year ending 2020. We will be looking for the biggest percentage decrease in days outstanding. The organisation who decreases their debtor days by the highest percentage will win £1,000 for a charity of their choice.

Write to me and request a form: caroline.lyons@innovationsoftware.uk.com

and then submit your 2019 results to me by 30th August 2019 and your 2020 results to me by 30th June 2020. I will send you reminders closer to the time. Throughout the year we will be asking for quarterly updates!

In the spirit of challenges...

The Innovators at Innovation Software have been taking on challenges of their own recently. Last week Little Ben ran the London Marathon. He did a tremendous job of his first marathon and raised money for Diabetes UK in the process. He is still collecting, so if you would like to spare a few pounds, you can do so by sponsoring him through the red button below.

Finishing the London Marathon must have left Little Ben pumped for more, because on Saturday, both he and Big Ben took off to Reading to participate in Tough Mudder - just for fun. The course is hard enough without the added endurance of Saturday's very strange weather conditions which included taking a battering from hail stones. Somehow both boys finished and were still smiling at the end. Luckily they had the long weekend to recover.

Finally Big Ben and I will be running the Berlin Marathon in September. We both begin training this month for the grueling 26 miles that lie ahead...wish us luck.

What can we say, we love a challenge.
