UserForce Southeast 2026 A day of Insight, Innovation & Collaboration



The third quarter of the year got off to a fantastic start with UserForce, as we welcomed clients from across the South East of the UK to our latest user group meeting. The event provided a valuable opportunity to share ideas, exchange best practices, and explore the latest developments across the CreditForce platform. Generously hosted by Mayer Brown at their London offices, the day fostered engaging discussions, collaborative thinking, and a shared focus on driving successful working capital management.


Bringing the community together


UserForce events are all about connection—creating space for users to learn from one another, exchange experiences, and explore new ways to drive efficiency and performance.


This session was no exception. From the moment the day began, there was a real sense of energy in the room, with open conversations, valuable insights, and a shared commitment to improving working capital management across the sector.



Keynote: Driving Better Working Capital Management


We were honoured to welcome Ed Gordon Hall, CEO at Druces, as our keynote speaker.


Ed delivered a highly engaging and insightful presentation on Working Capital Management best practices, providing practical guidance grounded in real-world experience. His session emphasised the importance of adopting structured, proactive approaches to financial management—an approach that clearly resonated with attendees.

 

He also strongly advocated for leveraging the technology behind CreditForce .Next to automate processes and enhance business intelligence, enabling more efficient decision-making and improved financial visibility.



Expert Panel: Real-World Experiences & Best Practice


One of the highlights of the day was our panel discussion, bringing together industry leaders to share their perspectives on using CreditForce effectively.



The panel featured:

  • Russell Lyons – CEO, Innovation Software

The discussion offered practical, honest insights into how firms are using our technology, automation and AI to streamline processes, improve visibility, and ultimately drive better financial outcomes.


Product Innovation: What’s .Next

A key focus of the day was showcasing the latest from Innovation Software

as we unveiled Webdesk .Next. now in beta release, it has been designed to replace our legacy Webdesk and will be used by:

  • Practice, Office & Regional Business Heads

  •  Partners

  •  Fee Earners & Associates

  • Secretaries


Webdesk .Next provides a modern look and feel, and a beautifully designed interface that that will sit seamlessly alongside the Microsoft products that our Users work with on a daily basis.


The new and improved Webdesk features include:

  • Smart Tasks for actioning workload most important for each User

  • Faster, more intuitive navigation with fewer clicks

  • Continuous scrolling – no need for pagination

  • Enhanced collaboration between Webdesk Users and Desktop Users

  • Performance improvements to address speed and load times

  • Effortless notetaking across multiple lines of data

  • Query Management

  • Billing Commitments and Promises Management

  • Built-in email functionality with easy access to copy bills and other relevant documents

  • Customisable data views and additional data sources

  • Easy for Managers to publish new Tasks or Email templates to Users

  • Improved Excel exporting


CreditForce .Next


We also introduced CreditForce .Next, the latest upgrade for our desktop application, featuring updated dashboards and a refreshed user experience and enhanced provisioning tool. These improvements offer clearer visibility, empowering users to make quicker, more informed decisions.


BI .Next – Smarter Reporting


Our new reporting module, BI .Next, demonstrates a significant step forward in analytics capability—delivering more flexible, intuitive, and powerful reporting for users at every level.



Unlocking Efficiency Through Automation


Throughout the day, a consistent theme emerged: the value of automation and structured workflows.


We explored how firms can benefit from:


  • WIP Module - specifically workflows and the Provisioning Tool

  • Collections Module - implementing collections Letters and Statements

  • SRA RCAB module - to effectively managing the return of funds to client account

  • Workflows - to standardise and streamline processes

  • GLUEON Transporter - to enable users to upload notes, queries, and tasks directly from spreadsheets into CreditForce


These tools not only improve operational efficiency but also reduce manual workloads and ensure greater consistency  across teams.



The Bigger Picture: Reducing DSO


At the heart of the discussions was a shared goal—reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). By combining best practices with the latest technology from Innovation Software, firms can improve cash flow, strengthen financial control, and create more sustainable, efficient working capital processes.
