GLƱEON Transporter

The GLUEON Transporter is our latest time-saving application. The idea was originally sparked from a conversation with Asset Manager, Gary Marsland, of Plexus LLP. He was explaining the lengthy process his Collections Team undertake with some of their insurance and re-insurance clients and managing the collection of Bordereau Bills created by their Insurance Practice.


Bordereau Bills are consolidated invoices. Individual invoices for matters are created and stored in their Practice Management System but are subsequently “consolidated” when sent out to clients into a one single bill. The consolidation of the individual invoices is a manual process carried out by the Collectors. The Credit Controllers were maintaining spreadsheets for each of the consolidated bills, which was a time-consuming exercise as it meant entering the information twice – once into the spreadsheet and then again into CreditForce. This “cutting and pasting” exercise took an average of half an hour per collector per day. The ideal solution would be to enable the Spreadsheet to be loaded to CreditForce automatically so freeing up the time taken by that repetitive task.


The more conversations we had with clients the more we realised that spreadsheets were being used across many Collector’s activities. The recording of notes into a spreadsheet to copy and paste back into CreditForce was happening amongst Collectors, Working Capital Managers and Cashiers when talking with Partners and Fee Earners. It posed the question:

“Is there a way we could automate this process?”

During one of our weekly development strategy meetings, we got together and started brainstorming. The idea for what would come to be known as the GLƱEON Transporter was born.


The GLƱEON Transporter is an elegant application that sits alongside CreditForce on the users’ desktop. It is so simple to use and so easy to run it can be loaded by your IT team. The user simply chooses a file path, selects the company that the information being loaded for relates to, selects the data type and import options and hits run. The GLƱEON Transporter will load the spreadsheet, check the columns to validate they match those within CreditForce and the data will appear in the appropriate view—Invoice, Cashiers or Working Capital—easy as that.

Unless notified to cancel before the end of the free period, the continued use of the GLƱEON Transporter will be invoiced in advance for the next calendar-year at £100 per month for a license of up to 10 Users.
